Sloppy Joes

Sloppy Joes are a great way to split up a package of ground beef. Using half the beef package, you'll get enough sloppy joes for your dinner and a lunch the next day. It's super easy, and is great with chips or fries on the side.

Follow the steps for Ground Beef Basics. Once your beef is done, all you need to do is add the seasoning packet and water, and the tiny can of tomato paste.

Let it simmer for about 15mins to fully come to flavor, and then serve on a bun. Toast your bun first, add a piece of cheese, and then fill with the sloppies. Because sloppies are kind of "wet" you'll want a sturdy type of bun, and the toasting will also help! Traditionally it's served with cheddar or colby jack cheese slices. For a kick, a pepper jack tastes great too. (Avoid american cheese for sloppies).
